Maintenance is the line many forget at quote time, and the one that worries people most once the application ships. Good news: it is not a black hole.

What maintenance really covers

On the traditional market, you often hear of an annual cost equal to 10 to 20 % of the initial project. Behind that percentage sit two very different things: corrective maintenance, which fixes what breaks and applies security updates, and evolutive maintenance, which moves the tool forward with new features.

Pay the right level, not more

The trap is the flat plan sold blind. The right approach starts from real need. At 5000.dev, every brick includes three months of guarantee to fix what needs fixing. That window is used to measure your real needs. Then the plan starts at 200 € per month for security and bugs, and scales with volume, up to 1,000 € per month at most for regular evolutions.

No lock-in

The point that matters most is not the price, it is freedom. The code belongs to you. You can grow the application with us, with another provider, or in house. Maintenance is a service you take if you want it, not a leash.
